Claw Toe/Hammer Toe
Claw toe and hammer toe are deformities where one or more toes become abnormally bent due to muscle imbalance, arthritis, trauma, or wearing tight shoes. In hammer toe, the bend is mainly at the middle joint of the toe, while in claw toe, the toe bends upward at the base and downward at the middle and end joints, resembling a claw.
